Why we exist

Most staffing firms still run like it is 2008. CV blasts, opaque pricing, recruiters who go quiet for two weeks at a time, candidates treated like inventory. Modern Employment was built to do the opposite of all of that — without losing the bit that actually matters, which is putting the right person into the right role and making sure the placement holds.

We are not a SaaS platform pretending to be a recruiter. We are recruiters who happen to use modern tools to keep searches transparent. The combination is what gets results.

How we run a search

One named recruiter per search

The recruiter who picks up your call is the recruiter who runs your search end to end. They learn your team, your hiring manager's preferences, your offer cadence, your comp philosophy. No researcher hand-offs. No CRM black-hole.

Written everything

Every search starts with a written brief that you sign off on. Every candidate has a written scorecard against that brief. Every week has a written update. The point is that you can audit our work at any point — and so can we.

Vetted before introduction

Right-to-work, references, background checks, skills validation and comp expectations confirmed before a CV reaches you. The shortlist is what you act on, not what you triage.

What we will not do

Send CVs we have not vetted. Pad the pipeline with low-probability candidates so we look busy. Inflate comp expectations to win the search. Pretend a candidate is "almost there" when they are not. Pull a candidate from one of your competitors without their explicit, written consent. Treat a placement like a closed ticket.

Coverage

We work US-wide. Roles in major metros (Cleveland, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Phoenix, NYC metro, the Carolinas, Pacific Northwest) close fastest, but we have placed candidates in 30+ states. If your search is in a market we do not have deep network in, we will tell you on the first call so you can plan accordingly.

Replacement guarantee

Every direct-hire placement comes with a 90-day replacement guarantee. If a hire does not stay, we re-run the search at no additional fee. The terms are written into the engagement letter, not buried in T&Cs.

Pricing

Contingent and engaged-search models available. We will give you a clear, percentage-of-base fee on the first call, written into the engagement letter before the search starts. No surprise invoicing. No "search admin" line items.
